A standoff in Kirksville Thursday afternoon, as Kirksville police tried to arrest 25 year old Austin Triplet at a house on West Cottonwood.
Triplet has been wanted since he and a woman showed up in the ER back in November with gunshot wounds.
He’s charged with dealing drugs, unlawful possession of a gun, plus he had other outstanding warrants. Police learned he was living at a home with a woman identified as Tasha McKim. When officers showed up at her house, she was arrested for hindering arrest, but Triplet barricaded himself inside.
After talking with officers, he finally gave up.
