Deadly Amtrak crash in Chariton county. At least three died…and more than 40 injured…when the train hit a dump truck at a crossing that had no lights or crossing arms. Two of the dead were on the train and one victim was in the truck. Eight cars flipped off the track, landing on their sides. There were 243 passengers on the train that was traveling from the west coast to Chicago.
