Property tax hike for Adair public library. The library wants voters to approve an increase of 12-cents per $100 dollars of property-value. It would be the first increase since the mid-80’s.
The average home in Adair county, valued at 118,000 would see a tax hike of $140 a year for the library. The library will be have a meeting to provide information on the afterooon of October 29th.
