Macon county sheriff’s deputies are stepping up patrols looking for drunk drivers. The increased enforcement is going on now through April 19th.
The project paid for by a grant. So, you’ll see an increased presence of deputies on the roads.

Next month, Macon deputies will run stepped up enforcement looking for young drivers who are not wearing seatbelts. About 30% of Missiouri teens do not buckle-up when driving or riding in a vehicle.
