A 41-year-old Moberly man has been charged with felony harassment stemming from a July 27 inciden.
According to the Moberly Police Department, Jarae Jadon Hayes is accused of harassing a 27-year-old Moberly female who was walking in the 500 block of 5th Street around 9 a.m. The victim told police she was walking home with her children from a park near the downtown area. The male, later identified as Hayes, approached her on foot and began following her.
When the woman arrived home, she called her boyfriend to come home from work. The boyfriend located Hayes and called police. Hayes was taken into custody.
Hayes is being held in the Randolph County Jail on a $15,000 cash-only bond.
