The reception for “Thank You for Your Service” will be this Thursday, August 24th from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Sue Ross Arts Center located at 215 S. Franklin in Kirksville. The exhibit honors forty former military members from Northeast Missouri. The Hands of Friendship Quilt Guild will be presenting these quilts to five of the veterans whose photograph is included in the exhibit. The reception as well as the exhibit is free and open to the public. The exhibit will be closing this Saturday, August 26th. The Sue Ross Arts Center is open Monday through Friday 11 am to 4 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm.
