One person was hurt in a crash in Chariton County this weekend. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Alixandra Jacobs of Triplett, Missouri, was driving a Chevy Impala on Route E, two miles east of Sumner, at 1:45 a.m. Saturday, when the vehicle went off the left side of the road, hit an embankment, and overturned. She was taken to University of Missouri Hospital with moderate injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.
