Four people were hurt in a wreck involving an Adair County ambulance. It happened last night on Missouri 6, three miles east of Lewistown. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the driver of a Ford F-150 began to yield to an Adair County ambulance, when the Ford traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected, got back on the road, and hit the ambulance. Both vehicles went off the left side of the roadway and came to rest. The driver of the ambulance, 29 year old Cheyenne Hyle of Unionville, suffered moderate injuries. An occupant of the ambulance, 48 year old Dawn Ramos of Kirksville, suffered serious injuries. Another occupant of the ambulance 49 year old Anthony Sims, suffered moderate injuries. The driver of the Ford, 65-year-old Steven Fries of Knox City, had moderate injuries.
