The Kirksville City Council will hold a special meeting at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The agenda shows the group will discuss an agreement for the construction of a multi-use trail on BNSF Abandoned Rail Corridor from North Baltimore Street to North New Street/Pear Tree Lane. They’ll also talk about an agreement for crosswalk improvements at various locations adjacent to educational facilities throughout the city of Kirksville including A.T. Still University, Truman State University, and the Kirksville R-III school district campus.
