Two hurt in Knox County wreck

Two people were injured in a crash in Knox County on Tuesday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Jeep Wrangler was stopped at a mailbox on Route V, eight miles north of Knox City, when it was hit in the rear by a Chevy Silverado. Two people in the Silverado were taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy. The driver suffered minor injuries, and a 79-year-old passenger suffered moderate injuries. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
