Three people hurt in wreck near Palmyra

Three teens from Hannibal suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle wreck that happened on Sunday evening. The Highway Patrol says none of the three men were wearing seat belts. 18-year-old Austin Wilhoit was driving the Kia Sportage on County Road 337, three miles north of Palmyra, when he lost control of the vehicle, and it overturned. He and a passenger, 19-year-old Mason Wasson of Hannibal, were taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Another passenger, 19-year-old Hayden Sims of Hannibal, was taken to Blessing Hospital.
