The Adair County Veterans Organizations will host a Veterans’ Day Ceremony at 11:00 am, Monday, November 11, 2024, at Kirksville’s Rieger Armory. Captain Jacqueline Donnelly, Assistant Professor of Military Science, Truman State University, will be the featured speaker. Captain Donnelly was commissioned as a Quartermaster Officer in 2016. She joined the Department of Military Science Cadre at Truman State University in December 2022. Doors will open at 10:00 am. The Kirksville R-III Symphonic Band will provide music for the ceremony. There will be a luncheon for those who attend immediately after the ceremony. The public is encouraged to join local veterans as we remember and honor those who have served and continue to serve our nation to protect our freedom.
