Weather permitting, March 25-26, motorists on northbound and southbound U.S. Route 24/61 are advised of nighttime lane closures while crews set girders for the new Missouri Route 6 bridge, 7.6 miles north of Missouri Route 168, near Taylor in Marion County.
U.S. Route 24/61 (northbound and southbound) will be reduced to one lane in each direction and traffic will be diverted up and over the existing interchange ramps. Work is scheduled to occur during overnight hours as follows:
From 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26
From 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, to 5 a.m. on Thursday, March 27
During this time, access on the west side of the interchange will remain open to allow the following movements:
Westbound MO 6 from southbound U.S. 24/61
Southbound U.S. 24/61 from eastbound MO 6
