Missouri makes deal with Kansas on voter rolls

Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins announced a new agreement with the State of Kansas to improve voter roll maintenance and ensure more accurate, up-to-date voter registration records in both states. Under this memorandum of understanding, Missouri and Kansas will securely exchange voter registration information to help local election authorities identify individuals who have moved across the state line but may still have active registrations in their former jurisdiction. With thousands of Missourians and Kansans relocating between the Kansas City metropolitan counties each year, this collaboration will directly support strong list maintenance practices and help reduce duplicate registrations.
