A municipal general election is planned for the city of Macon on Tuesday April 7th 2026, for the purpose of electing councilmen for wards 1 thru 4, Mayor and Collector. Filing will take place at Macon City Hall Monday thru Friday during regular business hours, starting at 9 a.m. on December 9th, until 5 p.m. on December 30th. City Hall is closed on December 24th and 25th.
