The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Above and Below Contracting, LLC to complete a project focused on resurfacing low volume rural routes in Linn and Sullivan counties. Resurfacing was scheduled to begin on Route Y in Sullivan County on Monday, March 16, but has been delayed until Wednesday, March 18 due to weather. During construction, the roadway will be closed in up to 2-mile sections. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route.
The contractor’s tentative schedule is as follows:
March 18-24 – Sullivan County Route Y
March 25-April 6 – Sullivan County Route OO
April 8-15 – Sullivan County Route FF
April 15-20 – Sullivan County Route H
April 22-29 – Sullivan County Route Z
April 30-May 8 – Sullivan/Linn County Route MM
May 9-18 – Sullivan County Route DD
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change
