MODOT has announced that the Chariton River Bridge Hwy 6 at Novinger will be closed starting September 11th and could be closed for up to 28 days while they connect the new bridge to the existing hwy. Residents will have to find alternate routes while bridge is closed. The new bridge span will be 8 feet wider than the original bridge. More info go to modot.org.
