The Kirksville Police Department is seeking information about a sex assault suspect. KPD received a complaint of sexual assault on an 11-year-old female. Based on evidence collected during the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued yesterday for Joshua David Pearson for two charges. Pearson, a registered sex offender, is 39 years old, 6’2” tall, 250 lbs, with brown hair, and blue eyes. He was last known to be driving a black GMC Sierra crew-cab with some rust around the passenger side rear wheel well and unknown license. The Kirksville Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating Pearson. A photo is posted to KPD’s Facebook page. Police ask that if you see Pearson, not to approach him and contact local law enforcement.
