Covid count: 24 new cases reported Thursday in Adair county.
That is a good number, considering that the daily count has been in the 50’s or 60’s in recent weeks. Ten of yesterday’s 24 cases were people who’ve been vaccinated. So, the rate of vaxed people getting the virus remains fairly hight.
In Macon county in the past week, there have been 105 new cases reported. That’s down from 210 the prior week. Nearly half of the 105 new cases were people who had received the vaccine. And for 12 people — it was their second go-round with the virus.
