The Adair County Health Department confirmed 24 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, which brings last week’s seven-day total to 97. There have now been 3,161 cases confirmed. Of those, 113 are active and 3,020 have left isolation. Among Friday’s 24 cases, five are breakthrough infections, seven reside at addresses with at least one other confirmed case, four are in the higher education sector, and one is in the K-12 schools sector. Elsewhere in Northeast Missouri, Sullivan County confirmed two new cases on Friday and they have seventeen active cases. Knox County reported 5 new cases on Friday, amd one additional hospitalization.
