Shawn Combs pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of 17 year old Alexia Scott. Combs admitted giving the girl drugs laced with Fentanyl. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison after originally being charged with murder.

Prices lower in Macon county, they’ve dropped to an average of $2.99 a gallon. So shop around before you fill-up.
Tis the season for porch pirates — stealing packages from front porches.
Columbia police arrested two women Friday for taking packages, as well as drug possession. Police urge you to track pacakges, have someone get them for you if you’re not home, or have them dropped off elsewhere.
Police also say a doorbell camera can cause thieves to think twice.
More puppy-dumping in Macon county. Last week, we told you about a 21 year old who was arrested for putting a litter of pups on the side of the road.
Now someone left puppies at the Macon county fairgrounds. They have been taken care of, but the sheriff’s office is asking for tips to find the person who left the dogs there.
Gas prices dropped another few cents overnight in Missouri — down to $2.88 statewide according to AAA.
But they’re not falling in Adair county. We’re still paying $339 a gallon — or about 50-cents a gallon higher than the rest of the state.

But it will still be ILLEGAL at the University of Missouri. The school said that after a review of federal law, the University system will continue to prohibit the possession, use and distribution of marijuana on any university property, otherwise they could lose federal money.
Recall of a product made in Kirksville at the Kraft Heinz Foods Plant. The Oscar Mayer Ham & Cheese loaf may have been contaminated on a slicer that was not cleaned sufficiently after slicing other products.
The ham and cheese loaves were shipped to distribution centers in Ohio and Virginia, and then out to stores.
